Barry Hearn was in sensational form earlier today as he shared his life story and business practices in front of a packed audience at the London Sporting Club's third business breakfast.
This was the first breakfast to be staged at our City Club following the International Cricket Council's CEO David Richardson in July and World Rugby CEO Brett Gosper in September both at our Mayfair base.
The founder of Matchroom Sport kept all those present spellbound as he went though life growing up as a working class kid in East London, to accountancy, buying snooker halls that led to promoting the sport, before moving on to boxing, darts, footbll and various other sports.
All those present had plenty of laughs but also plenty of clear business messages from the multiple millionaire. Barry also stayed on to network with fellow members for an hour after the official business, proving a massive hit with all who got to know him.
