Mark Webber proved just why he is so respected and popular in the world of Formula One and sport yesterday at the LSC where he entertained another packed dining room in Mayfair with his life story over lunch. The former F1 star, winner of nine GP's including twice the British and in Monaco, talked us through his story from karting in Australia to three times finishing 3rd in the world drivers' championship, as well as winning the world endurance championships and racing against all the greats of modern F1. He was joined by the former England one day cricket captain Adam Hollioake, former England rugby star Charlie Hodgson, GP3 driver Callum Ilott, ex Spurs player Paul Miller who also all spoke, as did member David Richmond, seriously injured whilst serving in Afghanistan. Nikki Skipper from Right to Play talked about the incredible work the charity does in Africa, Asia and the Middle East and a fund raiser also took place.
